System of Systems Engineer - Land Ceptor Export

Overview
As a System of System Engineer you will support the integration of the Land Ceptor product into a wider Ground Based Air Defence context. You will engage with customers and partners to shape requirements, architecture and verification plans for system-of-systems integration. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration to deliver evolution paths and ensure delivery of export contracts. The role offers exposure to multi-disciplinary design reviews and trade studies in a fast‑growing defence programme.

- Define System of Systems requirements and evolution paths with the customer
- Define architecture and use-cases to support development and evolution of system requirements
- Specify System of Systems integration requirements and verification plans
- Conduct design and technical reviews with internal teams and customers
- Coordinate with customers, industry partners and internal project teams on technical issues and responses
- Develop solutions for current and future programmes through cross‑functional collaboration
- Experience developing and integrating complex systems, preferably in defence
- Strong systems thinking with ability to drive trade studies
- Excellent communication to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders
- Experience developing design requirements and verification documentation and aligning with System Design Authorities and Government organisations
- Project engineering knowledge to design and deliver work packages
- Familiarity with system architecture tools, including DOORS and Rhapsody
- Security clearance: British Citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship (BPSS checks)
