Systems Analyst AMI Testing

New Westminster’s City Information Technology Division needs an experienced Systems Analyst/Programmer skilled in AMI testing and SQL. Hybrid remote work is available.

This temporary full-time, six-month position supports advanced metering infrastructure implementation. You will test AMI systems, web-based applications, and integrations while validating business and user requirements. The work includes collaboration with developers, business analysts, application owners, vendors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design test strategies, plans, cases, and reports
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
• Test complex end-to-end AMI systems and services
• Track, analyze, and document defects for resolution
• Communicate testing progress and present stakeholder proposals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline
• At least five years as a Systems Analyst/Programmer
• Experience testing AMI projects and web applications
• Experience with HP Quality Center or similar tools
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
