Systems Engineer

In this role, you will lead the design, integration and verification of mission systems for Thales OME Glasgow, ensuring performance and reliability. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and customers to capture requirements and shape subsystem designs, while applying defence-standard verification programs. You’ll serve as a technical interface across the system lifecycle, driving compliance and effective stakeholder engagement. - Lead design, integration and verification activities for mission systems
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to capture system requirements
- Work with design engineers to specify, review and approve subsystem designs
- Develop and implement verification and validation programs in line with defence standards
- Act as a key technical interface between stakeholders across the system development lifecycle
- Experience in the defence domain or similar mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of system engineering principles and best practices
- Proven ability to manage complex systems integration and verification projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
