Systems Engineer

In this role, you will validate and test software download and end-of-life (EOL) processes for McLaren vehicles, ensuring rapid issue resolution in production. You will define repeatable test methods for pre-series and volume builds and work closely with contract manufacturers to optimize processes. The position focuses on delivering robust software validation in a high-performance manufacturing setting and requires coordinating cross-functionally to keep timelines. You will help shape manufacturing readiness and support launch activities with a proactive, collaborative approach.

• Support the implementation and testing of the software download system
• Establish and refine software download and EOL test processes for pre-series and volume production
• Identify build-process issues and develop contingency plans for prototype and series builds
• Test processes and functionality and diagnose issues in EOL
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to optimize processes in a volume manufacturing environment
• Provide additional diagnostic work/systems support during build phases (launch support)
• Capture feedback via issue management and escalate as needed

• Experience leading development and validation of new software download and EOL test processes
• Broad automotive systems engineering experience
