As a Systems Engineer at Leidos, you will lead sub-system design and integrate hardware, software and networks for UK government-defence programs. You will work with customers and suppliers to shape the full lifecycle systems engineering activities, with a focus on low-level design and interface definitions. You’ll apply rigorous feasibility studies and risk assessments to drive robust, compliant designs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, integrated solutions that meet mission needs and standards.

- Gather and refine system requirements with stakeholders
- Define and design interfaces
- Create detailed design documentation and interfaces
- Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Coordinate integration of hardware, software, and networks
- Support validation and verification of designs
- Identify design improvements and drive best practices
- Assist with project planning and estimation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and QA processes
- Proven experience in system design in a relevant industry
- Strong understanding of systems engineering methodologies and lifecycle
