In this role you will operate and engineer AWS DBS services at massive scale, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cloud infrastructure. You will apply metrics to identify improvements, refine procedures, and coach others as a leader on the team. The position blends hands-on engineering with systems thinking to simplify and innovate our cloud platforms. - Experience in site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration
- Experience working with Linux
- Experience with programming or scripting languages (Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell) or equivalents
- Leadership and ability to coach and mentor
- Collaborative, cross-functional mindset
- Adaptability to ambiguous problem domains
- Linux proficiency
- Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Shell)
- Programming in one or more of Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby
