Overview

In this role you will help define next-generation ICs for Cirrus Logic's Automotive business. You will lead cross-functional efforts to shape product concepts, architectures, and roadmaps that meet market needs. You’ll translate customer requirements into engineering plans, engage with customers and industry forums, and guide teams through design reviews and validation. This position offers meaningful impact in a collaborative culture focused on innovation and automotive-grade solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead product definition and architecture through feasibility studies, lab analyses, and competitive teardown
  • Own system requirements and architecture in collaboration with customers and internal teams
  • Evaluate architectural trade-offs to align with market needs and business goals
  • Co-create product roadmaps with marketing and design leadership
  • Serve as voice of the customer to drive user-centric engineering decisions
  • Engage with customers to present concepts, build technical relationships, and identify opportunities
  • Represent Cirrus Logic at conferences and forums and support global customer engagements (travel)
  • Influence technical direction and roadmap through clear cross-functional communication
  • Contribute to design specifications, verification/validation plans, and go-to-market collateral
  • Participate in IC and board-level design reviews
Key requirements
  • Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Analytical and communication skills with ability to influence technical direction
  • Collaborative mindset and structured problem-solving across functions
  • Rapid learner of new concepts and technologies
  • Experience translating market needs into engineering solutions with customers
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Comfort presenting technical content to executives
