Systems Engineer - Public Sector

In this Systems Engineer role, you act as a trusted technical advisor across the UK, supporting customers and partners from discovery to deployment. You will design and demonstrate Fortinet solutions, lead PoCs, and ensure successful delivery in collaboration with account teams. The position spans public sector, enterprise, and commercial segments, focusing on multi-tenant security, cloud security, SASE, and SD-WAN. You’ll help shape secure digital transformations while growing your expertise in a dynamic, inclusive team.

• Lead engagements across the sales lifecycle (discovery, design, PoCs, presentations)
• Translate customer requirements into effective Fortinet solutions
• Deliver product demonstrations, architecture workshops, and whiteboarding sessions
• Collaborate with partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure delivery
• Maintain deep expertise across Fortinet portfolio, trends, and threats
• Support RFI/RFP responses and accurate Salesforce documentation
• Mentor and share knowledge with partners and colleagues

• Experience in a pre-sales, technical consulting, or customer-facing role
• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies (Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SOC Tools, Cloud)
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships

• Industry certifications (e.g., NSE, CISSP, CCNP) are a plus
