Overview

In this role you will contribute as a Systems Engineer within Saab’s Sensor Systems unit, focusing on radar and sensors growth in the UK. You will work on the G1X software-defined radar and related product enhancements across the lifecycle. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse performance, develop algorithms, and support customer demonstrations. The position offers travel within the UK and abroad and a path to shape advanced radar capabilities within a global defence technology company.

Key requirements
  • Bachelor (or equivalent)
  • Experience of radar, communications or EW systems
  • MATLAB experience with recorded radar data
  • Experience with a recognised industry standard requirements management tool
  • Familiar with 15288:2023
  • Familiar with product road mapping and lifecycle techniques
  • Good technical communication skills
  • UK or Swedish citizenship for security clearance
  • Ability to obtain National Security Vetting clearance (SC)
