Systems Engineer - Requirements

In this role you will help translate customer needs into precise system, subsystem, and software requirements. You will support European forces by maximising system potential and enabling export capabilities. You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary team to shape product line approaches and manage change processes. This position offers impact across defence programmes and opportunities to grow technical leadership in a mission-critical environment.

• Capture and understand customer needs
• Derive system, subsystem, and software requirements
• Guide product line approaches for a common product suite
• Define and manage change control processes
• Serve as a customer for specific software items

• Significant experience in requirements management and derivation (ideally in defence)
• Experience with DOORS, DOORS NG, and Rhapsody
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers
• Knowledge of engineering change control and management
• Ability to initiate and drive trade studies and system development activities
• Experience in developing complex systems (ideally defence)
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience of working with product lines would be beneficial
