About The Business Unit

We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.

Overview Of The Role

Due to continued growth, the Systems Engineering and Assurance team are recruiting a Systems Engineer / Safety Engineer to join a friendly and dynamic team focussed on delivering systems engineering and/or safety assurance solutions to infrastructure, energy and technology projects.

Some of the key services provided by the team include:

• Engineering Safety Management
• Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM)
• Requirements Management
• System Architecture Development
• Interface Management and Systems Integration
• Design Assurance
• Verification and Validation

The Systems / Safety Engineer will work alongside experienced professionals within multidisciplinary teams and gain experience using industry standard toolsets across a diverse range of projects.

In addition to project delivery activities, the successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to bids and proposals and participate in the Early Careers Professionals (ECP) network.

We are working on a wide variety of UK rail projects from level crossing removals and station upgrades to the largest national railway infrastructure developments. We also provide support to international projects in countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States to name but a few.
