In this role you will drive the development and integration of complex electronic vehicle systems for JCB’s iconic machines. You will collaborate with product teams to shape system requirements and validate solutions on rigs and vehicles. You’ll explore emerging technologies to inform technology roadmaps and coordinate with suppliers to meet project goals. Senior roles involve leading architecture work, guiding multi-disciplinary teams, and mentoring engineers. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at the heart of JCB’s electrical and controls initiatives.

• Develop, debug and integrate electronic vehicle systems on off-highway machines
• Collaborate with product teams to define system requirements for future products
• Conduct system validation testing on rigs and on vehicles
• Benchmark emerging technologies to inform technology roadmaps
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver projects
• For senior roles: specify vehicle system architectures, lead problem-solving with multi-disciplined teams, mentor engineers

• Degree in electrical or systems engineering
• Ability to work independently with sound engineering principles
