We are looking for a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist that can take a new initiative from strategy to implementation.

Description

• Providesadviceonthetestingstrategy,testplans,theselectionoftestingtools,andtheidentificationofresourcesrequiredfortestingPlansandorganizestestingeffortsforlargesystemsinGraphicalUserInterface(GUI)andnon-GraphicalUserInterface(GUI)environments,includingtheexecutionofsystemsintegrationtests,specializedtests,anduseracceptancetesting(e.g.,stresstests)
  
• TheQualityAssuranceSpecialistisresponsibleforthedevelopmentoftestplans,testscriptsandtestcasesandexecutingtheseagainstthevariouscomponents.
  
• ThetesterwillworkwiththetestingleadandITleadofeachprojectaswellastheprojectteammembersintheanalysis,design,development,implementationandongoingsupportoftherequiredsystems
  
• GeneralSkills:Experienceinplanning,organizingandimplementingtestingeffortsatthespecifiedexperiencelevel
  
• Knowledgeofstructuredmethodologiesforthedevelopment,design,implementationandmaintenanceofapplicationsKnowledgeandexperienceintheuseofComputerAidedSoftwareEngineering(CASE)toolsanddataquerytoolstoaidinthedevelopmentoftestcases
  
• KnowledgeandexperienceintheuseofautomatedtesttoolsandversioncontrolsystemsononeormoreplatformsExperienceexecutingfunctionaltests,non-functionaltestsandsystemslevelintegrationtests
  
• ExperiencesupportinguseracceptancetestingandparticipatinginUATactivities
  
• Experiencewithqualityassuranceprinciples,practices,toolsandstructuredmethodologies
  
• Experiencecreatingtestingstrategydocumentation,testplans,testcasesandtestdataforvarioustypesandphasesoftesting,includingtechnicalandbusinessfunctionalvalidation
  
• Experienceinqualityassuranceandtesting,includingunittesting,integrationtesting,loadtesting,performancetesting,etc.
  
• KnowledgeandexperienceinallphasesoftheSystemsDevelopmentLifeCycleExcellentanalytical,problem-solvinganddecision-makingskills
  
• Organizational,creativityandperseveranceskills;verbalandwrittencommunicationskills;andinterpersonalskills
  
• Ateamplayerwithatrackrecordformeetingdeadlines

Requirements

• Recent(withinlastyear)experienceinsystemstesting.(mostly manual)
  
• Excellentknowledgeofsystemtestingmethodology,executesystemanduseracceptancetests.
  
• Abilitytounderstandandanalyzebusinessrequirements,andsystemsresponsedocuments,todesignandexecutetestplanstoensurethesystemfunctionsandmeetsthebusinessrequirements.
  
• Continuous,significantexperienceasatesterinanWebShpere,Oracle,Javaenvironment.
  
• SignificantexperiencewithSFTS,WebShpere,Javastack,SQLandJCL.
