Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior

  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing quality assurance and testing activities within Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall SDLC environments.
  • Experience testing cloud-based applications developed using Java technologies, JSON, RESTful Web Services, and HTML5
  • Proven experience developing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases and test scripts, test execution and reporting artifacts.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and managing software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to validate business and technical requirements, support debugging activities, and contribute to overall software quality and usability.
  • Experience conducting accessibility testing in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), including the use of accessibility testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance and testing tools, including Azure DevOps and Postman
  • Demonstrated understanding of privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements and compliance with Ontario Public Service (OPS) and Information & Information Technology Strategy (I&ITS) policies, standards, directives, and governance requirements
