Systems Testing/QA Specialist Senior

We are seeking a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist with strong experience in healthcare IT and public-sector environments to support complex applications, integrations, APIs, and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA and system testing activities, including test strategy, test plans, test cases, test data, execution, and reporting .
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, security, and non-functional testing.
  • Test HL7/FHIR-based REST APIs using Postman, SOAP UI, Swagger, or similar tools.
  • Perform SQL/data validation and automated testing using Selenium or similar frameworks.
  • Conduct WCAG 2.0/AODA accessibility testing .
  • Participate in defect triage, walkthroughs, release validation, and production deployment testing.
  • Provide guidance to junior QA team members and work with Agile/DevOps teams.

Must-Have Skills

  • 7+ years of QA/System Testing experience
  • 5+ years of public-sector healthcare IT experience
  • Hands-on experience with FHIR/HL7, REST APIs, Postman/SOAP UI/Swagger
  • SQL and database testing
  • Selenium/automation testing
  • WCAG 2.0/AODA accessibility testing
  • SAML/JWT security testing
  • Strong defect management and SDLC experience
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence/TestRail
  • Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
