List of Requirements

• Completion of H&R Block Tax Course Level 1
• Accounting experience preferred, but NOT required

List of Duties

• Conduct interviews to prepare accurate tax returns using H&R Block’s customer service and programs
• Provide tax information and offer appropriate tax-saving suggestions
• Practice excellent client service to maximize new and returning clients (including contacting prior clients through Client Connect programs)
• Complete documentation for Efile and Instant Refund services as per company procedures
• Collect all payments according to company policy
• Review COD, Hold & Drop-Off returns regularly and follow up as needed
• Answer questions from clients and other associates in person or by phone, and research as needed for accurate responses
• Support teammates in a collaborative office environment
• Demonstrate knowledge in income tax and participate in continuing education to maintain and grow expertise
• Perform other duties as assigned
