Tax Resource Management Assistant Director

Lead Tax resource deployment and capacity planning at EY in Toronto, using workforce planning and stakeholder management expertise. Support Canada’s GCR practice.

As Assistant Director, you will oversee deployment, development, and capacity planning for Global Compliance and Reporting professionals. You will align talent with business needs while creating meaningful career experiences. Collaboration spans Resource Management colleagues, business leaders, and stakeholders across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with Partners and senior leadership around staffing demands
• Plan deployment with engagement leaders across staff levels
• Negotiate resources to maximize utilization and address imbalances
• Manage staffing conflicts and recommend alternative solutions
• Analyze weekly capacity, forecast, utilization, and timesheet reporting

Requirements:

• Professional services or consulting firm experience, ideally Big Four
• At least two years’ Manager-level Resource Management experience
• Experience leading and managing Resource Managers
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
