Team Lead Billing Spec

Overseeing the daily operations of the Billing Department, the full-time remote Billing Team Lead will manage a team of billing specialists, ensuring accurate claim submission, timely reimbursement, and regulatory compliance while providing leadership and training. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor billing specialists to meet departmental goals and maintain efficient operations Ensure accurate submission of claims and monitor for rejections and denials while analyzing billing trends for process improvement Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and conduct routine audits to ensure billing accuracy and policy adherence Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of healthcare billing experience, with a preference for DME billing Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing Strong knowledge of DMEPOS billing guidelines and payer requirements Proficiency with billing software, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office applications
