Teams & Sharepoint Specialist

In this role you will lead the migration of unstructured data to Microsoft 365, focusing on Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive, while providing daily administration and support. You will monitor the core 365 environment to keep services secure and reliable, and share practical guidance to help colleagues use these tools consistently. You will contribute to data governance and enable scalable collaboration, helping Liverpool City Council transform how teams work and serve residents. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on digital transformation and public service delivery.

• Lead migration of data from on‑premises drives to Microsoft 365 components (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
• Provide day‑to‑day administration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
• Monitor and maintain the core Microsoft 365 environment for security and stability
• Share knowledge, produce documentation, and provide practical guidance for safe usage of Microsoft 365 services
• Contribute to data governance and secure handling across Microsoft 365
• Adapt responsibilities as service needs evolve

• Experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, especially Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
• Ability to plan and lead data migration projects
• Knowledge of security and governance within cloud collaboration platforms
