Java Full Stack & AWS Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack & AWS Developer with strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React/Angular, REST APIs, and AWS cloud services . The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and high‑performing cloud‑native enterprise applications.

The role requires close collaboration with architects, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions using modern software engineering and AWS cloud practices.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Design, develop, test, and maintain end‑to‑end enterprise applications using Java and modern frontend technologies .

• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs .

• Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using React or Angular .

• Design and deploy cloud‑native applications and services on AWS .

• Integrate applications with internal/external APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and AWS services.

• Develop event‑driven and asynchronous solutions using AWS and messaging technologies.

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and application data‑access components.

• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.

• Troubleshoot application, API, cloud, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

• Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.

• Participate in technical design, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and release planning.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and enterprise application development .

• 4+ years of experience developing Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed applications .

• 3+ years of experience with React or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS .

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS .

Technical Skills

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate

• Frontend: React/Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3

• Architecture: Microservices, REST APIs, Cloud‑Native Architecture

• AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, EKS/ECS, CloudWatch, IAM

• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL or other relational databases

• Messaging: Kafka, SQS, SNS or similar technologies

• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS

• DevOps: Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, CI/CD

• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, API and Integration Testing

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS serverless architecture using Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS.

• Experience with Amazon EKS/ECS and containerized Microservices.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Experience with event‑driven architecture and Kafka.

• Knowledge of AWS IAM, security, networking, and secrets management.

• Experience with application monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or similar tools.

• Understanding of secure coding and cloud security best practices.

• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD‑based deployments.

• AWS Developer or AWS Solutions Architect certification is preferred.

• Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other enterprise environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
