Tech Lead

In this IT Senior Project Manager / Tech Lead role, you will steer complex technology deliveries from mobilisation to handover, ensuring secure, architecture-aligned solutions. You’ll collaborate with operations, engineering and technology teams to realise business value and benefits. You’ll drive governance, budgets, risks and change control while shaping roadmaps and investment plans. • Lead delivery of complex technology projects and programmes from mobilisation through to handover
• Provide technical leadership across software development activities ensuring secure, standards-aligned solutions
• Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps, priorities and investment plans
• Build relationships with operational, engineering, asset management, capital delivery and technology teams
• Act as primary TECH contact for projects and ensure effective stakeholder engagement
• Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams, suppliers and delivery partners
• Ensure governance, risk management, quality assurance and change control processes are robust
• Collaborate with architecture, cyber security, data and service teams to ensure resilient solutions
• Support business case development, procurement and technical evaluations
• Monitor delivery performance, budgets, forecasts, benefits realisation and outcomes
• Ensure business readiness, training, adoption and operational transition

• Significant experience leading complex technology projects, programmes or digital transformation
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, delivery methodologies and governance frameworks
• Experience providing technical leadership across software development and operational support
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, risks, issues and dependencies
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and delivery partners in a matrix environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
• Experience translating business needs into effective technology solutions
• Knowledge of governance, architecture, cyber security, service transition and change disciplines
