Tech Lead (Python, JavaScript)

Overview

In this role you lead a team of data‑oriented technical consultants to build complex, data-driven solutions. You will split time between hands‑on development (about 80%) and shaping technical strategy as the team scales. You’ll work on projects that enable better investment decisions and support circular economy initiatives, delivering end‑to‑end data processing, APIs and cloud pipelines. Join to drive engineering standards, mentor juniors and deliver impactful tech for good. This is a hands‑on leadership role at scale, focused on real-world impact through technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data-oriented technical consultants to implement complex solutions
• Maintain hands-on coding focus (approximately 80% initially) while growing leadership responsibilities
• Design and implement APIs, cloud-based ETL pipelines, and end-to-end data processing systems
• Promote engineering standards, best practices, and testing discipline
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Contribute to technical strategy and architecture decisions
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data projects
• Mentor and support junior team members to accelerate growth

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and AWS experience
• Solid understanding of system design and data engineering/data management
• Experience building APIs, Cloud-based ETL pipelines, customer UIs, and end-to-end data processing solutions
