Overview

As a Solutions Engineer at TikTok, you help external clients and partners thrive by architecting and delivering tailored ad tech solutions. You will balance building production-grade software with guiding clients to achieve their business goals, working cross-functionally across Ads product engineering, sales, and client teams. You will influence product direction by identifying challenges and shaping how solutions address real customer needs at scale. This role offers the chance to impact advertiser outcomes while expanding TikTok’s solutions ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with client-side engineering teams and drive joint engineering roadmaps
  • Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities aligned with advertisers' goals
  • Build and ship new products and end-to-end customized solutions with Ads product engineering
  • Influence product development roadmaps to address business challenges
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years shipping production-grade code
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C/C++
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated knowledge of API and backend systems design
