Technical Account Manager, Google Cloud Consulting
In this role you guide customers through Google Cloud adoption, coordinating technical guidance, timelines and transformation strategies. You will connect with cross-functional teams to keep momentum across multiple work streams, while shaping strategic roadmaps with C-Suite and IT stakeholders. You’ll orchestrate executive reviews and plan critical events to ensure successful outcomes, and translate learnings into scalable best practices. Responsibilities- Lead the customer adoption journey and oversee the implementation path and milestones
- Provide technical guidance and manage migration goals and business transformation strategies
- Advocate for customer needs, addressing blockers and driving new feature development
- Coordinate across multiple teams to maintain momentum and successful delivery
- Build strategic relationships with stakeholders (especially C-Suite & IT) and develop executive roadmaps
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and executive sessions to align on business and technical needs
- Plan customer events and launches, collaborating with Support, Engineering and SRE to ensure success
- Guide issue resolution with Support and customers, including escalations
- Develop best practices and reusable assets from engagements to scale via partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; equivalent practical experience
- 5 years in a customer-facing role driving technical implementations or transformation programs
- Experience supporting customers in cloud operations (launch/capacity planning, product release management) or IT consulting
- Experience with IT operations, databases, networking, IT security, application development, service architecture, cloud-native development, hosted services, storage or CDN
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
