Technical Architect - AD SME
+ DV Cleared role
+ Can be based out of Hampshire, Newcastle
+ Initialy 5-6 months but expected to be longer term
+ 85 to 95 per hour - Inside IR35
+ Expenses paid for travel
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect with strong Microsoft Active Directory expertise to design and deliver secure, enterprise-scale identity and directory solutions within a high-assurance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Active Directory architecture, design and technical delivery
- Design complex domains, forests, trusts, replication and GPO strategies
- Provide technical leadership and act as the AD SME
- Design tiered administration, PAM, PAW and least-privilege solutions
- Architect ADFS, authentication and identity integrations
- Produce HLDs, LLDs, security designs and technical documentation
- Conduct AD health checks, security assessments and remediation
- Support complex identity incidents and technical troubleshooting
- Use PowerShell for automation and administration
- Work closely with security, infrastructure, application teams and customers
Essential Experience
- Strong background as a Technical Architect / Solutions Architect / Senior SME
- Expert-level Microsoft Active Directory / AD DS experience
- Enterprise multi-domain / multi-forest environments
- Strong knowledge of GPO, DNS, DHCP, replication and trusts
- Experience with ADFS, Kerberos, NTLM and LDAP
- Strong identity and security architecture knowledge, including PAM, PAW and tiered administration
- Proven HLD/LLD and technical design documentation experience
- Strong PowerShell skills
- Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
