Technical Architect (SAP)

An IT Solutions provider are looking for a Technical Architect to join an Investment Bank.

ASAP START - 4 Month initial contract (Extendable)

RATE - Negotiable (Inside IR35)

LOCATION - CANARY WHARF (3-4 DAYS ONSITE)

Define and own the technical architecture for an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud transformation spanning Core Finance, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Datasphere/SAC/Fabric, and a wide landscape of banking upstream/downstream systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern the end-to-end technical architecture across the SAP landscape and adjacent banking applications.
• Define integration architecture between S/4HANA Core Finance and SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, and the data/analytics layer (Datasphere/SAC/Fabric).
• Ensure architectural coherence with the bank's existing upstream and downstream systems (trading, forex, and related banking processes).
• Work closely with functional leads and the Cutover Manager to align technical delivery with the transformation roadmap.

Requirements

• 10+ years' SAP technical architecture experience, ideally including S/4HANA Private Cloud.
• Strong grasp of integration architecture across a complex, multi-application SAP landscape (Finance, HCM, procurement, expense, data/analytics).
• Banking/financial services experience highly relevant, given the scale and complexity of upstream/downstream integrations in a trading-intensive environment.
• Comfortable operating across planning, implementation and execution phases of a large-scale transformation.
