In this role you will own and optimise a portfolio of UK renewable assets (solar) to maximise performance and investor value. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to balance technical and commercial objectives, oversee O&M/EPC and commercial contracts, and ensure regulatory and ESG compliance. The role combines hands‑on asset management with market-driven revenue strategies, contributing to sustainable growth across the portfolio. This is an opportunity to drive efficiency, manage risk, and shape asset performance in a scale‑up renewables environment.
Responsibilities- Monitor and optimise asset performance (solar PV) against KPIs
- Implement revenue optimisation strategies across energy markets (balancing services, wholesale markets)
- Manage O&M and EPC contractors, ensuring performance and contractual compliance
- Lead incident resolution, maintenance oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee commercial agreements (PPAs, grid, land, and service contracts)
- Identify cost-saving and value enhancement opportunities
- Support budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (investors, lenders, advisors, grid operators)
- Ensure regulatory, ESG, and insurance compliance across assets
- ~3+ years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or asset management
- Strong mix of technical and commercial understanding
- Knowledge of UK energy markets and grid services is advantageous
- Experience managing contracts (EPC, O&M, PPA) and stakeholder relationships
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
