We are seeking an experienced Technical Author to create clear, practical guidance for a range of IT and digital systems. You will work with technical SMEs and system users to turn complex processes into accessible documentation.

The Role
As the Technical Author, you'll:
- Create a comprehensive suite of user guides and process documentation.
- Produce guidance covering CDE, CAD and BIM platforms.
- Work with technical SMEs to understand system functionality.
- Engage system users to understand processes and user journeys.
- Translate complex technical processes into clear, accessible instructions.
- Develop step-by-step guides using screenshots, diagrams and workflows.
To be successful as the Technical Author, you'll have:
- Experience creating clear technical user guides and process documentation.
- Experience translating complex technical information into practical instructions.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with technical SMEs and system users.
- £450–£550 per day.
- 24-week contract.
- Home-based position.
- Monday-to-Friday working pattern.
