Overview

In this role you bridge IT and business to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs during a digital and systems transformation. You translate complex business problems into clear technical requirements and collaborate with developers, product owners and operations. You shape solutions across systems, integrations and digital platforms, ensuring requirements are captured and delivered effectively. You will influence major systems improvements within a UK-based business with a strong operational backbone. This position offers cross-functional impact and a chance to drive efficiency and better customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Capture, analyse and document business requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Bridge between business users, developers and technical teams
  • Support system integrations, process improvements and digital initiatives
  • Produce user stories, process flows, data mappings and functional specs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows and system utilization
  • Support testing phases including UAT planning and requirements validation
  • Ensure solutions align with technical feasibility and business outcomes
Key requirements
  • Experience as Technical Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting technical and functional requirements
  • Experience working with software development teams (Agile, Scrum or Waterfall)
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language
  • Experience producing user stories, process maps, workflows and documentation
  • Exposure to systems integrations, APIs or enterprise applications
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
