Overview
In this role you lead a globally distributed BI and analytics team within Corporate & Institutional Banking to deliver and modernise reporting solutions. You will steer Power BI, SQL, and cloud analytics to align with business priorities, driving scalable and reliable insights. You’ll shape reporting strategy and foster cross‑functional collaboration to support data‑driven decision making. This is a chance to impact a large reporting estate and accelerate cloud adoption in a large financial services group.

- Lead and develop a globally distributed BI/analytics team
- Own and prioritise the BI & Reporting backlog to maximise value
- Provide technical leadership across Power BI, SQL and cloud-based reporting
- Build relationships across business and tech teams to translate requirements
- Champion Agile ways of working and continuous improvement
- 5+ years’ experience delivering reporting/analytics with Power BI
- Proven experience leading BI/reporting/analytics teams (globally distributed)
- Strong SQL expertise for large data environments
- Experience balancing BAU with strategic change delivery
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Experience in Agile delivery environments (backlog ownership, planning)
- Experience using Jira, Confluence or similar tools
