Technical Business Analyst

As a Technical Business Analyst, you translate business goals into technical solutions and work with cross-functional teams to design data-driven IT systems. You’ll shape how the organisation uses systems and applications to work smarter, balancing business needs with technical feasibility. The role sits at the intersection of business and technology, driving process improvements and value realisation. You’ll own clear documentation, test strategies, and stakeholder communication to enable digital transformation.

• Analyze business requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes via technology
• Develop strong business cases for new solutions with stakeholders
• Collaborate with technical teams to design IT systems, applications and data-driven tools
• Document detailed functional and non-functional specifications
• Create and maintain business documentation (business cases, user stories, acceptance criteria)
• Contribute to project planning, resource planning and testing strategies
• Lead testing and quality assurance to ensure user and technical standards are met
• Identify and document business benefits and ROI, supporting benefit realisation
• Maintain technical documentation including system architecture and data models

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-focused environment
• Ability to break down complex requirements into clear documentation
• Confidence working with technical teams across systems, applications and data
• Strong communication skills to influence and guide decisions
