Overview

In this role you will coordinate the technical delivery of high-quality residential developments from planning through to construction. You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure accurate, timely technical information and smooth coordination between architects, engineers and internal teams. This is an opportunity to shape developments at a UK housebuilder with a strong project pipeline and clear progression paths. You will contribute to delivering buildable designs and resolving technical challenges at pace.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate architectural and engineering information across residential developments
  • Review drawings, designs and technical information for buildability and coordination
  • Liaise with architects, civil/structural engineers and external consultants
  • Support preparation and submission of planning information
  • Coordinate technical information to ensure accuracy and timely issuance
  • Liaise with Planning, Commercial, Construction and Land teams
  • Manage technical queries throughout construction
  • Attend design, technical and site meetings
  • Monitor consultants and ensure information is delivered to schedule
  • Resolve technical and design issues as they arise
Key requirements
  • Experience within residential development, housebuilder, or residential design consultancy
  • Good understanding of technical delivery of residential developments
  • Experience coordinating architects, engineers and other consultants
  • Knowledge of planning and construction processes
  • Ability to read and review technical drawings
  • AutoCAD knowledge would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • HNC/HND, degree or equivalent qualification within construction, architecture, engineering or a related discipline
