Technical Co-Ordinator

In this role you coordinate technical designs across multiple development sites to ensure plans are buildable, compliant and aligned with programme and budget. You will support planning, highways, drainage and utility approvals, working with consultants, contractors and internal teams. You’ll resolve technical queries and drive practical, deliverable designs for residential projects. This position offers exposure to Northampton’s development programme, contributing to high-quality schemes from planning through delivery. You will play a key role in shaping compliant infrastructure while collaborating in a forward-thinking team.

• Coordinate technical designs across multiple development sites
• Support planning, highways, drainage and utility approvals (S38, S104, S278, S106)
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and internal teams to resolve technical queries
• Ensure designs are compliant, practical and aligned with programme and budget

• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure design, or technical coordination in housebuilding or consultancy
• Knowledge of drainage, highways and adoptable infrastructure standards
• Competence in AutoCAD and drainage software (Microdrainage, WinDes)
• Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
