Overview

In this Technical Consultant role, you guide customers from pre-sales through implementation, ensuring secure, tailored Windows and Microsoft-based solutions. You collaborate with customers, partners, Product Management and Engineering to run workshops, POCs, architecture discussions and product demos. You act as a trusted advisor, translating technical insight into value and shaping product direction with customer feedback. You enable partners, drive adoption, and pursue new business opportunities to support market growth. This role blends technical depth with commercial awareness in a hybrid, travel-friendly setup.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical workshops, proof of concepts, and architecture discussions to tailor solutions to customer needs
  • Deliver product demonstrations and solution designs across the customer lifecycle (pre-sales to ongoing success)
  • Provide technical guidance during the sales process and ensure high-quality implementation and training
  • Support partner enablement and deliver technical training to enable adoption
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to product direction by feeding customer insights to Engineering and Product teams
  • Travel to client sites as needed (primarily London and M4 corridor) and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Key requirements
  • Deep understanding of Windows Servers / Microsoft products
  • Broad technical knowledge of data security, risk analysis, and threat modelling in the information security space
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking, firewalls, VPN configuration, Docker, microservices, Cloud (Azure / AWS)
  • Proactive, analytical with advanced problem-solving abilities
  • Eligible to achieve DV Clearance (British citizen or resident for at least 10 years)
  • Experience in a Technical Consultant / Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer role
