Overview

In questa role you drive data delivery and architecture within a fast-paced, evolving setting. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to connect data strategy with analytics, delivering tangible benefits at scale. You shape solutions across on-prem and cloud environments, using modern data platforms to support underwriting and risk insight. This is a hands-on, leadership-influencing role that values accountability and clear communication while solving complex data challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Apply strong technical skills to deliverable work and guide the team to perform effectively.
  • Connect data strategy with analytics to generate tangible benefits and high performance.
  • Influence and empower team members to execute toward common goals in a fast-paced setting.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks and priorities to ensure on-time, accurate output.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written forms; support stakeholders with presentations.

Key requirements
  • 10+ years in data delivery, architecture, data modelling, ETL and data production with DevOps principles.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SQL, Python, data integration/ingestion and Databricks, ADF, Notebooks.
  • Delta Lake knowledge including medallion architecture and dimension concepts.
  • Cloud experience on Microsoft Azure; on-prem and cloud databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and tools (Jira, AzureDevOps).
  • Proven track record delivering solutions with large system integration partners.
  • Mass ingestion capabilities, cloud process flows, data quality, and master data management.
  • Understanding of data security challenges and tooling (e.g., Databricks).
  • Experience migrating data/systems from on-prem to cloud; consulting and collaborative working style.
  • Lloyds/Company Market (re)insurance experience a plus.
