As Technical Delivery Manager - Data, you will steer complex data and tech initiatives from planning to production. You collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to ensure timely, secure, and compliant delivery. You’ll manage cross-team dependencies, risk mitigation, and release readiness while fostering agile ways of working. This role sits at the intersection of data and technology, shaping delivery at scale for Aristocrat’s gaming platforms. You will drive measurable delivery improvements and partner with global engineering teams to meet business priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead full lifecycle delivery of complex technical initiatives across the Technology portfolio
  • Own project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery aligned with business priorities
  • Maintain delivery plans, RAID logs, and dependency maps across engineering groups
  • Coordinate with Managers, Architects, Product Managers, Data, and Engineering teams
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives, release planning)
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and identify delivery risks with mitigation strategies
  • Translate business objectives into actionable technical workstreams with engineering and build groups
  • Coordinate releases across teams ensuring readiness and successful production deployments
  • Track delivery health with metrics and reporting to leadership and steering committees
  • Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, governance, estimation, and Agile ways of working
  • Support resource planning, capacity management, and prioritization across initiatives
  • Ensure delivery compliance with security, governance, and operational requirements
  • Develop collaboration across distributed engineering teams while promoting accountability and delivery excellence
Key requirements
  • Proven track record leading technical software delivery, engineering programs, or enterprise technology projects
  • Experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives with multiple engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile, and DevOps
  • Experience with software engineering, cloud platforms, data engineering, and architecture teams
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Success in managing dependencies, delivery risks, release planning, and stakeholder expectations
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive reporting
  • Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data platform initiatives is highly desirable
  • Experience in regulated industries or SaaS enterprises is advantageous
  • Delivery of enterprise technology or SaaS platforms, or software engineering solutions
  • Experience coordinating large-scale platform migrations or modernization
  • Understanding of CI/CD, release management, and software deployment
  • Knowledge of IT governance, security, and compliance
  • Experience in globally distributed engineering organizations
