Overview

Insight Global is looking for a technical Development Lead with strong experience in Java, AWS, NodeJS, and Spring Boot to lead major integration projects at a large Canadian bank. This qualified candidate will be joining the US Wealth Management line of business and be working closely with their Wealth Management technology stack. This role will report to Application Delivery and help navigate complex challenges in connecting new applications to existing infrastructure. This contract will be 6 months with extensions and can be based in Toronto, ON or Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive development and integration of new applications into existing systems using APIs.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure best practices in cloud-based development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges across multiple platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in a development role with expertise in Java, AWS, NodeJS, Spring Boot, and API integration.
• 5+ years of experience as a Development Lead, responsible for providing technical leadership, specifically around AWS implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience in financial services and Wealth Management is highly preferred.
