Technical Director

Enthusiastic Highways & Drainage Technical Director to lead the London-based team. You will manage a busy project portfolio, deliver high-quality solutions, and drive client-focused outcomes. You will act as technical discipline lead on major projects, mentor junior staff, and support the regional office management. • Lead and manage a busy Highways & Drainage team in the London office
• Oversee multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Act as technical discipline lead for larger projects
• Manage client relationships, including development and creation of new business opportunities
• Coordinate with local authorities, statutory bodies and third parties; liaise with external design teams
• Review and sign off on technical agreements including S278/S38
• Support regional directors in day-to-day office management
• Mentor and develop junior staff

• Incorporated or Chartered Engineer
• Proven multi-disciplinary project and team management experience
• Experience in business development and generating new leads
• Experience in client management and creation
• Ability to review and check S278 and S38 agreements
• Strong communication skills for reports and client liaison
• Experience working in project teams and supervising members
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage budgets, and adhere to programme
