Technical Director, Quantum

A London appointment at technical director level leading the consultancy's quantum expert work.

The posting states that the successful candidate will lead major domestic and global disputes as lead expert, manage teams of quantum analysts by setting out the key areas of the dispute and the parameters for analysis, collate analysis and reports from all sources and write the expert reports, and testify as a quantum expert when required.

The role also covers:

• assignments in risk advisory
• commercial management and dispute resolution
• regular meetings with clients and their legal advisers
• close work with the delay team

Winning future work is stated to be a major part of the role.

The employer asks for previous service as lead expert on major construction disputes, ideally having testified and been cross examined, demonstrable experience of managing teams in the lead expert role, expert level report writing, an understanding of the duties of an expert under CPR Part 35, and substantial knowledge of adjudication, arbitration and litigation.
