Overview

As Technical Implementation Lead, you will steer upgrades and release management to minimize business disruption and maximize efficiency. You’ll lead a technical team within the Technical Solutions department, collaborating with BI, Data Services, and development partners to align cloud solutions with implementation strategies. You will own end-to-end upgrade planning, testing protocols, and post-implementation reviews, driving continuous improvement. This role offers impact through shaping how upgrades support growth and operational resilience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor Implementation Analysts and Legacy Application Support Consultants to exceed expectations
  • Develop and maintain a strategic upgrade plan prioritizing business needs and risk
  • Oversee end-to-end upgrade lifecycle from planning to post-implementation review
  • Coordinate cross-team alignment with technical and business requirements
  • Establish controlled testing environments before full deployment
  • Lead release management to ensure timely, efficient, error-free releases
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure third-party solutions meet standards
  • Document upgrades thoroughly and capture lessons for future improvements
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Provide regular stakeholder updates on upgrades and potential downtimes
  • Foster collaboration with other department leads to ensure cohesive upgrades
Key requirements
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in system implementation, upgrade management, and release processes
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage large-scale projects
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and release management protocols
  • Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and team motivation
