Technical Implementation Manager - Embedded Finance

Overview

In this role you drive end-to-end enterprise integrations for Airwallex’s Merchant Services, turning business requirements into actionable delivery plans. You coordinate cross-functional teams across pre‑sales, solution design, and go‑live to ensure timely, well‑governed implementations. You’ll work at the intersection of sales, product, engineering, and operations to deliver scalable payments and embedded finance solutions. This is a hands-on role in a fast‑moving fintech environment with a strong impact on customer onboarding and success.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements and solution designs into comprehensive delivery plans for end‑to‑end partner integrations
  • Own overall project management for client product integrations including risk and dependency management
  • Lead delivery with integration engineers and technical stakeholders to ensure clear architecture and timelines
  • Coordinate a core cross-functional delivery team through all phases from pre‑delivery to post‑delivery
  • Facilitate cross‑functional approvals from legal, compliance, risk, operations, and product to secure sign‑offs
  • Prioritise solution requirements with product and engineering while balancing roadmap and client timelines
  • Align partner delivery milestones with broader product roadmaps and operational readiness
  • Apply professional services methodologies (governance, RAID, KPIs, status reports) across multi‑region projects
  • Track and communicate portfolio metrics and lead post‑launch reviews to improve integration playbooks
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years in Product Delivery Management or Project Management for complex technology or financial services implementations
  • 5+ years of professional services or client‑facing delivery in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience with global payment products or technology-led solutions and translating capabilities into integration plans
  • Proven track record delivering cross‑functional projects with diverse stakeholders including executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
