YouwillworkcloselywithEngineering,Product,ArchitectureandSecurityteams,leadingthroughtechnicalexpertiseratherthantraditionalpeoplemanagement.

  • Leadarchitecturaldecisionscoveringscalability,security,performanceandreliability.
  • Remainhands-onwithcoding,codereviewsandcomplextechnicalproblem-solving.
  • Driveplatformmodernisationandreducetechnicaldebt.
  • Establishengineeringstandards,codingpracticesandautomatedtesting.
  • ChampionCI/CD,DevOps,infrastructureascodeandcloud-nativedevelopment.
  • Mentorengineersandtechnicalleads,influencingdecisionsacrossteams.
  • Workwithseniorstakeholderstoaligntechnicalsolutionswithbusinessobjectives.
  • Supportproductionsystems,troubleshootingandcontinuousimprovement.

EssentialSkills&Experience

  • ProvenexperienceasaTechnicalLead,PrincipalEngineer,StaffEngineerorequivalent.
  • Stronghands-onsoftwaredevelopmentandtechnicalleadershipexperience.
  • Experiencedesigningenterprise-scalesystemsacrossmultipleteamsorplatforms.
  • Broadfull-stackknowledgeacrossfrontend,backend,APIs,databasesandcloud.
  • Strongunderstandingofmicroservices,distributedsystemsandevent-drivenarchitecture.
  • Experiencewithcloudplatforms,ideallyAWS,alongsideDocker,KubernetesorTerraform.
  • KnowledgeofCI/CD,automatedtesting,DevOpsandproductionsupport.
  • Abilitytoinfluencetechnicaldecisions,mentorengineersandcommunicatewithseniorstakeholders.

  • Delivery: GitHubActions,Jenkins,CI/CDandautomatedtesting.
