In this Technical Lead role, you will own the technical direction and drive key architectural decisions to support a fast-growing London startup. You will lead complex projects from design to delivery, shaping the technology as the business scales. You will set engineering standards and mentor engineers while staying hands-on with challenging problems. You will collaborate with the wider business to turn ambitious ideas into robust technical solutions. This is a high-impact position offering ownership over strategy and architecture in a dynamic, in-office environment in London.
Responsibilities- Own technical direction and make key architectural decisions
- Lead complex projects from design through to delivery
- Set engineering standards around performance, reliability and code quality
- Mentor engineers while remaining hands-on with challenging problems
- Collaborate with the wider business to translate ideas into robust technical solutions
- 5+ years of professional experience, including senior experience
- Proven ownership of major projects from architecture through to production
- Comfortable leading technical decisions and mentoring engineers
- Able to discuss system design and tackle hard technical problems hands-on
- Strong systems engineering experience; Rust experience is a plus
