Technical Lead - Contract - Must have HE experience

Technical Lead | Contract | Higher Education I'm looking for an experienced Technical Lead to support a major Student Information System transformation within Higher Education. This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role, taking ownership of the technical direction across the programme and working across student systems, architecture, integrations and data migration. You'll act as a key technical authority on the programme, working closely with internal teams, university stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure the solution is robust, scalable and successfully delivered. What you'll be doing: Lead the technical delivery of a Student Information System transformation Own the architecture, integrations and data migration Lead developers, analysts and testers across the programme Turn business requirements into clear technical solutions Work with and challenge third-party suppliers Act as the technical lead for senior university stakeholders What we're looking for: Strong technical delivery experience within UK Higher Education Experience with Student Record Systems – SITS/eVision, Banner or similar Experience with major SIS implementations, upgrades or replacements Good understanding of the end-to-end student lifecycle Strong integration/API and data migration experience Strong SQL/database knowledge Experience leading technical teams and working with senior stakeholders Azure/AWS experience beneficial
