Technical Lead - Ruby / React

I'm currently working with a well-established technology business that is looking to hire an Engineering Manager to join their Belfast team.

This is a newly created role within a growing engineering function, offering the opportunity to take real ownership across people, delivery and technical direction .

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Product and Engineering, helping improve ways of working, supporting delivery and developing a talented team of engineers.

What we're looking for

• Strong commercial software engineering background


• Experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails and/or React


• Previous experience managing or leading engineering teams


• Strong technical understanding and comfortable contributing to technical discussions and code reviews


• Experience working closely with Product and other stakeholders


• Passion for mentoring and developing engineers


• Based within commuting distance of Belfast


• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
