Technical Lead - Tyndalls Park

Salary: £104,000 - 117,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong technical delivery experience within UK Higher Education
• Experience with Student Record Systems such as SITS/eVision, Banner, or similar
• Experience with major SIS implementations, upgrades, or replacements
• Good understanding of the end-to-end student lifecycle
• Strong integration/API and data migration experience
• Strong SQL/database knowledge
• Experience leading technical teams and working with senior stakeholders
• Azure/AWS experience is beneficial

• Lead the technical delivery of a Student Information System transformation
• Own the architecture, integrations, and data migration
• Lead developers, analysts, and testers across the programme
• Turn business requirements into clear technical solutions
• Work with and challenge third-party suppliers
• Act as the technical lead for senior university stakeholders

We are hiring a Technical Lead on a contract basis to support a major Student Information System transformation within Higher Education. This is a senior, hands‑on role with ownership of the technical direction across the programme, working across student systems, architecture, integrations, and data migration. We will partner with internal teams, university stakeholders, and third‑party suppliers to ensure the solution is robust, scalable, and successfully delivered. The role is UK hybrid with occasional client site visits, and the start date is ASAP.
