As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will safeguard the Roku platform’s end-user experience by supporting ad services, live operations, and infrastructure in a global team. You’ll collaborate across engineering, content, and customer support to triage issues, optimize processes, and drive reliability. Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and triage issues for engineering attention and communicate with stakeholders
  • Support Roku infrastructure including Ad services and related systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve day-to-day issues and perform data analysis as needed
Key requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant technical experience in video or related technology disciplines
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with engineering and business owners
  • Ability to resolve problems independently and follow escalation procedures
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and/or weekends
  • Bachelor Degree or relevant work experience
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers in a professional manner
  • Polite, professional communication
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
  • Understanding of the AdTech space
  • Knowledge of Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) is desirable
  • Data analysis and troubleshooting within advertising and streaming platforms
