Overview

In this role you will maintain and optimize real-time trading infrastructure, ensuring performance, uptime, and operational stability. You’ll work closely with traders, developers, and technologists to improve system reliability and automate workflows. You’ll design tooling to reduce manual work, troubleshoot cross-layer issues, and participate in 24/7 on-call coverage. This is a high-impact, fast-paced environment focused on engineering excellence in electronic markets.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support electronic trading systems with emphasis on performance and uptime
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve trading system reliability and functionality
  • Design and implement automation tools to reduce manual effort across infrastructure processes
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across networking, custom applications, and hardware
  • Execute infrastructure and configuration changes within a global change management framework
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 production support

Key requirements
  • Degree in STEM subject preferred
  • Expertise in Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in Python scripting for automation and tooling
  • Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, UDP, multicast)
  • Experience supporting mission-critical, low-latency systems in production
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
