Overview

As Technical Product Owner, you will shape the Investments technology platform by translating front-office needs into valuable product solutions. You’ll manage the roadmap in collaboration with investment and technology teams, delivering features across multiple desks. You’ll explore emerging tech, including AI, to enhance investment capabilities and drive value for the platform. This role combines investment knowledge, technical insight, and product expertise to influence strategic decisions and solve complex business challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business outcomes and priorities into a clear platform roadmap to maximise value
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define requirements and target end state
  • Prioritise backlog and communicate value, outcomes, and trade-offs
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, research, operations and tech teams to identify opportunities
  • Guide cross-functional teams through design discussions and day-to-day prioritisation
  • Define minimum viable products and ensure releases deliver measurable business value
  • Promote reusable platform capabilities to reduce duplication and accelerate delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement and AI-enabled capabilities and emerging technologies
Key requirements
  • Experience in asset management, investment management or institutional investments with front-office exposure
  • Strong understanding of investment operating models and trade lifecycle
  • Product Manager/Owner/Business Analyst in product-focused delivery
  • Experience gathering requirements, shaping roadmaps and delivering working software with business value
  • Knowledge of front-office capabilities such as portfolio management, trading, analytics or investment operations
  • Comfort engaging senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and influencing decisions
  • Technical background with collaboration with architects, developers and delivery teams
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with SQL, APIs, data platforms, or analytics tools
