Overview

In this role, you drive the vision and execution of our cloud platform and developer experience. You’ll partner with engineering and leadership to shape a scalable CI/CD ecosystem that enables safe, compliant cloud deployments for critical business functions. You’ll translate customer needs and market trends into a practical roadmap, balancing technical tradeoffs with user impact. This is a chance to influence how LSEG builds and operates in the cloud at scale, with a strong focus on security, automation, and developer empowerment.

Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the product vision and long-term roadmap for cloud platforms (12–18 months)
  • Collect and analyse customer feedback, market trends and insights to steer strategy
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand needs
  • Collaborate with engineering to design, build and enhance cloud platform features
  • Engage diverse internal customers (Engineers, Architecture, Risk, Cyber) to capture feedback and translate into capabilities
  • Prioritise features and deliver value through an actionable product backlog
  • Assess tradeoffs of technical decisions and their impact on customer experience
  • Define and track metrics to inform roadmap adjustments
  • Promote best practices in software development, DevOps, and infrastructure management
  • Understand how the product fits into the wider ecosystem and anticipate cross-domain impacts
Key requirements
  • Proven experience in technical product management, product design or software engineering
  • At least 5 years of AWS Cloud technology experience in an enterprise context
  • Proven ability to propose cloud platform innovations and influence stakeholders
  • Experience translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products
  • Experience with AWS cloud platforms, Cloud Modernisations, well-architected principles, CI/CD and DevOps
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with senior executives
  • Team-oriented with a hands-on, collaborative work style
